Hi, my name is Jim Fahs, owner of Wasatch Home Inspections and sole inspector–it’s just me. I’ve worked full-time in home inspections since 1995 so I’m in my 28th year. At first I went to work as an employee of a multi-inspector home inspection company in Florida. Four years later I bought that company and over the next 14 years we grew from 6 to 14 full-time employees. We performed about 40,000 home inspections in the Tampa Bay area during my ownership. In 2013 I sold that company and moved to Utah where I started anew. So far I’ve performed over 2,000 Utah home inspections.
